CoolSculpting Results/Outfit Post

A couple months ago I went to Trilogy in Midvale and tried out CoolSculpting for the first time on these thighs! Haha. I documented the whole process on our stories on Instagram, but it takes a couple months to see the final result which is why I've taken so long to post about it!

If you're unfamiliar with CoolSculpting, it's where they apply a handheld device to specific stubborn fat areas on the body for about 30 minutes, which freezes the fat and your body gets rid of it over the next few months!

I did it on my inner thighs, and was told to expect about a 25% fat reduction on the treated area. Most people want 2-3 treatments over a period of 9 months or so, but I am pretty happy with the results and may just stop with this one!

Below is a before/after photo. I didn't use the actual ones they sent me because I'm in my lace underwear and my sisters thought it looked inappropriate to post! Haha but send me an email if you want to see them and I'll send them to you! Also, read to the bottom to find how to get a major discount at Trilogy Med Spa and for outfit details!

Sorry for the low quality of the before photos! They didn't have their camera at the time, so they were taken with an iPad. As you can see though, my inner thighs are slightly smaller which is exactly what I wanted!

CoolSculpting is not for major weight loss. It's for treating smaller, stubborn areas that you may not be able to get rid of with diet and exercise. I did not lose any weight from this process, but do love the result!

As for the actual process, it was super simple! I brought my laptop and got some work done while I was there, and was in no pain at all. It took about 30 min on each leg! It's very cold when they first apply the device, but then you just go numb and can't feel anything.

If you have any questions about CoolSculpting or are thinking about trying it yourself, feel free to email me or comment below! Make sure you DO YOUR RESEARCH before you get it done, because it makes a huge difference who you go to! I loved how knowledgable they were at Trilogy and highly recommend them. If you DO end up going to Trilogy for anything (facials, botox, CoolSculpting etc.) make sure you mention us for a great discount!

3 Perfect Holiday Dresses

Happy Holidays everyone! We can't believe Christmas is only a week away! Woohoo! With Christmas Eve AND New Years Eve falling on Sunday this year, we thought we'd share some of our favorite holiday dresses and some different ways to style them. We're wearing three of our favorite dresses we've found this season in the pictures below, and also linked some other options at the bottom of this post. Hope you can find something you feel beautiful in and love them as much as we do!

Statement sleeves are EVERYTHING this year, and I'm all about midi dresses so this was a win win for me! The sleeves are so fun and festive (perfect for the holidays!) but the dress is also great because it can be worn for any occasion year round! The shoes I paired it with (pictured below) are on sale for 50% off here!

Another midi dress that just screams Christmas (yay)! This is the softest, most comfortable dress and pairs great with booties like the ones Regans wearing (found here), or a black tight and cranberry pumps like the ones Paige wore (linked above).

3. Sidney's Dress. Ruched Midi Dress

If you know Sidney, you know this is about as dressed up as she gets! She'd rather be skateboarding or catching a wave than dressed up any day, so this dress is perfect for her and anyone else who loves comfort over fashion! With the flattering ruched sides it's great for showing off your curves while also camouflaging anything you've got going on in your mid section ;) Pair this with a casual ankle bootie like Sidney's (found here) or dress it up with a black higher heel like these.

Be sure to check out more of our favorite holiday dresses this season below.  Merry Christmas!

Girlfriends Giftguide

Another gift guide coming at ya! This ones for any lady in your life. The every(day) girl, the fashionista, the sporty/athletic girl, and the working (boss babe) girl.

When I'm shopping for a girlfriend, whether it's one of my sisters, my mom, a friend, etc., I always look for things I wish I could buy for myself! Haha.  When you bring home a gift, and have a hard time wrapping it up because you just want to keep it for yourself, you know you've bought something great in my opinion.  Giving someone a gift you're excited about, then having them open it and love it is seriously the best feeling!

Scroll thought the widgets below to see some of our favorite lady gift ideas!

THE EVERY GIRL

These are gift ideas for the girl who likes to keep it simple. Basic tees, plain colors that go with everything, cute sweaters for layering, a yummy candle, a comfortable wrap dress.

THE FASHIONISTA

These are gifts for the girl who's always in with the latest trends, and who loves branching out a little with what she wears. Bell sleeves, over-the-knee boots, and those fisherman hats that some of us just can't pull off.  Leave it to your fashionista bestie to rock all the latest styles and be perfectly confident wearing them. We're including velvet bodysuits in this category because yes, the bodysuit is more of an "every girl" buy, but add some velvet and the fashionistas in your life with LOVE these.

THE SPORTY GIRL

Sporty girls are the easiest to buy for.  Anything Nike, Lululemon, a cute pair of sneakers, or a sport bra this girl will love. Can you ever have too many sports bras? Or for lounge wear, Ivy Park sweatpants and sweatshirts are the best!

THE WORKING GIRL

There's nothing like a sleek business dress and some cutie office supplies to get this girl excited to head in to work! A new laptop case, a pretty new top, or a fun hat are also all things the working girls in your life will love.

A Friendly Reminder and Cute Outfit Post

Hey guys! Just a simple outfit post coming at ya today :) As we've mentioned in a couple of our instagrams, we took pictures in a bunch of our current favorite outfits recently and are excited to share them with you guys! Fall fashion is the best :) That being said, we kind of feel like outfit posts are so "fake" and we feel kind of annoying doing them at the same time haha.

Liiiike in the picture above for example! Just casually laughing at nothing at all while obviously trying to still pose and look skinny for a picture (insert eye roll emoji).

Sometimes we get annoyed with girls on Instagram trying so hard to look cute, while pushing clothes/products/services on us, and pretending like their lives are perfect. Then we're like...wait, that's kind of us! Oh no!

We're all just trying to feel cute, and be happy aren't we? Nobody is perfect, everybody has problems! It's important to rememeber that COMPARISON IS THE THIEF OF JOY! We hope to inspire you with cute outfit ideas, fun recipes and other things that make us happy :) We DON'T want to try to come off as perfect and we don't want to be annoying, but we also don't want to post pictures of us in real life looking looking like a hot mess! Ha

ANYWAYS, we just thought we'd put that out there because we really needed a reminder for OURSELVES when scrolling through blogs and pretty Instagram accounts. It's hard sometimes to remember to just be inspired by what you see on social media, and not to start comparing yourself to WHO you see on there. We all have trials for a reason to help us learn, grow and be shaped into the person we're meant to be. Although it's so HARD sometimes, let's try to be grateful and look for the meaning, lessons and sometimes even BLESSINGS in our trials instead of feeling down, jealous, and comparing our lives to others.

Hope you're all having a great week!

Transition to Fall with Madewell

Oh hey! (Insert hand wave emoji). It's been a while since we've done an outfit post! With Fall finally here (or cute outfit season) and Madewell having a big sale this weekend, we thought it was the perfect time!

If we don't say so ourselves, how cute are both of our tops?? :) You can get them both at (you guessed it) Madewell, and they are having a sale through the weekend for 20% off $100 and 30% off $200!

Also, if you STILL haven't gotten yourself a pair of high waisted denim, just trust us and buy some already. They will make your legs look sky high and skinnier than they really are. Need we say anything else?

Paige is wearing a 10" rise from Madewell, but those might be a little TOO high if it's you're first pair. We recommend these if you're getting your first pair :) We've posted about them before, and will definitely be posting about them again. They're our absolute favorite.

Also, Regan's cute watch is from Arvo!

We love their watches. So elegant and simple :) Scroll to the bottom for links to our whole outfits!

Burgundy Birks

I jumped on the Birkenstock train a couple weeks ago when I saw this cute burgundy pair in a store and I have to say, I GET IT.

Why I waited so long to get a pair of these magical sandals that make you feel like you're walking on clouds...I have no idea.

I will also say, I've seen a few pairs that were little manly looking (sorry not sorry), and I think that made me a little skeptical.  Also the fact that I'm not hipster enough, but let's just pretend I'm a hipster when I wear these, k?

Summer's basically over, but that won't stop me from taking every last chance to wear sandals that I can get before it's boot season (or Ugg season for me) forever. And by forever I mean March 2018 which seems like a VERY long ways away.  Thank you Utah.

This burgundy color makes these Birks the perfect transition from sandals to fall booties and I am in love! Scroll down for all outfit details, including my baseball hat that matches perfectly.

Side note: my husband won't let me rock any team EXCEPT for San Diego, so that means I've made it my goal to own this hat in every color - find them all below.  San Diego fans, you're welcome.

Forgiving Beach Dresses

Are we the only ones who save a loose, flowy beach dress or two for the last couple days of vaca? I usually will be looking pretty good at the beginning of a vacation because I've been preparing with eating clean and working out, but who wants to eat clean on vacation?? By the last few days the burgers, shakes and fries are usually starting to show and it's nice to swap out the mom shorts and crop tops for flowy, forgiving dresses :) We've linked our favorites at the bottom of this post!

These pics were taken on the last day of our Bear Lake trip over the 4th of July holiday weekend! We LOVE Bear Lake so much and will be sharing a post soon with more pictures from the trip, and our guide to traveling to Bear Lake with our favorite things to do, where to stay, the best places to eat and the best time to go! Stay tuned!

Bodysuits and High Waisted Denim

Hey guys! It's been a while since we all three did a fashion post, but we just had to get on and share about on of our favorite new trends! You've probably seen some of the bodysuits that have been popping up recently in clothing stores...

If you're like us, your first thought was something along the lines of "What the heck is that? How uncomfortable and unflattering!". Enter high rise denim. It wasn't until we fell in love with a couple new cuts of high waisted jeans that we really started to get into the bodysuits! Now, we can't get enough!

We LOVE bodysuits with high waisted jeans for so many reasons, but mainly because it's so flattering! The bodysuit stays smooth all day and doesn't bunch up and wrinkle, or come untucked like most shirts. It also smooths out the belly area, and the high rise denim covers the lower belly, accentuating the smallest part of your waist! So, excuse us while we wear the same outfit every day from now on ;)

If you haven't gotten a pair of high rise denim yet, you NEED to get in on this shiz :-P They make your legs look sky high and are so much more flattering than low rise! Our absolute favorite cut of high rise denim is the Citizen of Humanity 'Rocket' jean, although they can be a little pricey. A great alternative that we also love are Madewell high rise jeans. They're about half the price and still super cute!

As far as bodysuits go, Madewell definitely has the most comfortable. All of their body suits are super stretchy and comfy, and don't ride up! Revolve also has a great selection and a lot more options to choose from.

We've linked our favorite bodysuits and high waisted denim below, as well as all of our outfit details :) Happy shopping people!

Autumn Neutrals

One of the greatest things about living in Utah is experiencing the changes in seasons!  Fall is most definitely the prettiest time of year in our opinion.

One of the reasons the change in seasons is so fun is because we get to change out our wardrobes with each season! Wearing neutral colors and transitional shoes is a great way to start to transition your wardrobe into fall.

Anthropologie has some great pieces that can be paired with so many different things!

Paige's navy & cream skirt (unfortunately not available anymore, but we linked a similar one) is so comfortable and can easily be dressed up or down.  Regan's olive green vest is the perfect layering piece for the warmer fall months, and she paired it with one if her more summery tops (which is currently on sale for under $20!) - gotta get as much use out of those summer clothes as possible before it's too cold!

P.S. Regan's faux leather tote is a new favorite for fall - it's reversible from brown to black, and is under $50! All of our outfit details are linked at the bottom of this post :)

The Perfect Fall Flannel

You know we love our flannels! We've talked about them before and shared two of our favorite ways to wear them HERE, but we're back with another post on this wardrobe staple because…FALL! What better time to bust out a flannel than the season of crisp air, colorful leaves, and PUMPKIN everything?? Plus, we just found the perfect one that's a new MUST-have in our opinion, and wanted to share it with our readers :)

The flannel we're both wearing in this post is a new one from BP that we're so in love with. It easily rivals the expensive Rails and other to die for name brand flannels out right now, but is only a fraction of the price!

This flannel fits great (not too boxy), is super soft and comfy, and is such a great price you don't even have to limit yourself to one color… it comes in 6! (We may end up with them all)

Thanks for reading, and if you take the advice and purchase one or two (or five) of these babies we hope you love it as much as we do! Flannels and full outfits linked below :)

Wedding Season - What to Wear

In honor of Sidney's wedding coming up this weekend (what?!), we thought we'd post a couple summer wedding attire ideas! Wedding season is in full force, and what's worse than having nothing to wear or having to worry about going out and buying something new each time a friend or family member gets hitched?! We're so over worrying about what to wear, and wanted to show a couple easy outfits that work as wedding attire, but also can be worn over and over again as daytime dresses or church outfits.

Dress up a more casual skirt and basic top with a fancy statement necklace to make your outfit look more formal…

Choose a flowing knee length, fun summer dress that you can dress up with pumps or dress down with a cute sandal wedge…

We don't know about you, but our favorite type of weddings are ones that double as full blown dance parties, so we like to wear things we can move around in! Being able to "drop it low" if we feel so inclined is obviously important, so we don't want to wear anything too short or too tight to avoid flashing our fellow wedding goers! Just something to think about ;)

Anyways, thanks for reading! All outfit details are linked below :) Hope you all are having a great start to your summer!

Mom Bod - What to Wear

Hello readers! Paige here to talk about my postpartum mom bod! Yep, I still have one. It's been three and a half months and I'm 12 lbs over my pre-baby weight ='( I gained 60 lbs during my pregnancy though so I guess I'm not too mad about it! What can you do?

My outfit (below right) has been my go to style ever since MJ was born. I carry my weight in my lower half, so dresses look much more flattering on me than pants do! My stomach is almost back to normal so I always try to accentuate it. I still have a little extra something something in my lower belly however, which I cover up by tying a chambray or flannel around my waist. It also helps cover up the extra stuff I've got going on in my hips and booty! ;)

If you carry your weight up top, I envy you. Loose fitting tunics and tops are so in right now and you can find them everywhere! Pair a cute, loose fitting top with your favorite stretchy leggings (until you fit back in your jeans) and you're set! Regan's outfit (below) is a perfect example.

I hope any new moms out there struggling to lose the baby weight like me can find this helpful! Remember, you're body went through these changes to bring you one of the most beautiful gifts life has to offer. Try not to worry too much about the weight, and just dress to flatter your body and make yourself feel good! Eat healthy and work out when you can, but most of all enjoy this precious time!!

Thanks so much for reading. Outfit details linked below :)

Back to Work

Paige here to talk about officially becoming a working mom! Last month I finally went back to work selling real estate, and although I LOVE my job I have to say it's been a little bitter sweet. Luckily, selling homes provides me with a fairly flexible schedule, but spending time and energy focused on something other than MJ has been an adjustment!

It was always the plan to take the standard 6-8 weeks off after having the baby, and then return to work full time with a few minor adjustments… I’d do more of my office work from home, and schedule home showings in the evenings when my husband is home or when my mother-in-law could watch him. Easy-peasy, right?! To be honest, I thought I’d actually enjoy returning to work and having a little time away from everything baby! When the time came however, I felt differently.

First of all, do people really only take SIX weeks of maternity leave?! That’s what I’d heard was pretty standard, but when 6 weeks rolled around I felt NO where near ready to return to work. By 8 weeks I felt a little better, but it still took me a couple more weeks to really feel ready to get back into the swing of things. I’m blessed to have a job that allowed me that flexibility because I don’t know what I would’ve done otherwise! 10-12 weeks should be standard time off for maternity leave in my opinion! AND by the way (side note for those without kids) β€œtime off” doesn’t equate to β€œvacation time” when you’re on maternity leave. I actually had another realtor in my office ask me if I had a nice β€œvacation” when I returned to work, haha. I don’t remember having sore nipples, getting no sleep and constantly cleaning up poop and spit up on any vacation I’ve ever been on, but ok ;)

To help boost my motivation to return to the work force, I did, of course, what any sane woman would do…a little retail therapy ;) There’s nothing like a brand new, professional-looking outfit to get you into work mode! I may still be a few sizes larger than I used to be but hey, new clothes are new clothes! Plus, when you find a skirt that holds everything in like this black one does, who cares?

The outfits shown here are the results of my retail therapy (which Regan happily joined in on) and our favorite go-to look this season for work attire. You can't go wrong pairing a dressy solid with a fun spring/summer print!

Anyways, now that I’m officially back, things are going pretty well! It’s a lot harder to get my office work done at home than I thought it would be (since MJ isn’t a great napper) but my schedule for showing homes is working out great so far! Really I just need more clients…(the only downside to taking so much time off has been people forgetting that I’m in the business!) So, (shameless self-plug time) if you, or anyone you know in Utah is looking into buying or selling a house, call or email me! 760-801-7993 paigesteckling@kw.com :)

Thanks so much for reading! Outfit details linked below :)

Flannels

Adding a flannel tied around the waist can add so much to any outfit. Not only do they create an extra layer and added style to a basic tee and jeans or dress, but they are also super flattering and can be used as a cover up when tied around the waist. We'll actually be talking about this more in a future post!

Today we wanted to show how verstitile a flannel can be. Below are two looks showing how easily you can dress a flannel up, or wear it casual.

Express has some awesome oversized plaid shirts right now at great price points! Links to all outfit details and some of our favorite flannels are below!

Black & White

Is it weird that black & white is probably our favorite color combo?  It just works. Especially in the wintertime. A couple of our favorite things about these two looks: Sidney's sweater and Regan's coat (heart eyes for days). Sidney was tempted to buy her sweater in both color options. If you haven't noticed, she is super in to wearing looser-fitting tops, and this is no exception. It's the perfect amount of "flowy" and so, so soft! Regan's windowpane coat is the perfect piece to dress up (and warm up) any outfit. Love the windowpane pattern that's become more and more popular lately.  All outfit details are linked below!

Sidney: Sweater | Pants | Shoes | Beanie | Watch

Neutrals

You've probably noticed we are all about wearing neutrals. We love having neutral colors in our closet because they are so versatile and can go with so many different things. A neutral pair of pants is way more worth spending money on to us, because you can get so much more use out of them! We love this olive color pants Regan's wearing, and Sidney's neutral cords are so comfortable and currently on sale for under $70! Also, you may see Sidney's thermal Free People top on repeat in multiple colors for both of us. We LOVE this top! It's so soft and we love that it's longer in the back. We both own it in a couple different colors. Full outfit details and links to each item below :)

Sidney: Top | Pants (on sale, under $70!) | Booties | Necklace | Bracelet (currently 30% off!)

Cozy Sundays

We took a much needed break from the fashion posts over the holidays, but are finally back at it! These are a couple of our favorite looks to wear on a chilly Sunday to church. Regan's super comfortable long-sleeve dress is on sale at Nordstrom Rack for only $40 in grey but also available in this red color here. Sidney's shoes are sold out in her color, but available in black (Paige has this color, we love these wedges!). Keep checking back though for the neutral color to come back in stock ;) All outfit details are linked below!

Sidney: Top | Skirt (similar) | Tights | Shoes | Necklace | Glasses

HOBO Bags

So we've talked about how much we love Hobo bags and wallets before, but we've teamed up with them again this holiday season to show you what a perfect gift they make for any woman in your life! These are three of our current favorites :)

The Lauren wallet from Hobo (which we raved about here) would also make a great stocking stuffer! We'll include our favorite colors of the Lauren this season in our stocking stuffer guide post…coming soon! (Stay tuned). Some of our outfit details are linked below.

P.S. Be sure to follow us on our Instagram account! We are giving away each of the bags featured in this post to THREE lucky winners!
